What is shipment return?

Shipping and Returns on this website

Packages are generally dispatched within 1 day after receipt of payment and are shipped via Overnight Express* or Economy Freight** – Door to Door, with tracking. Signatures are compulsory and the buyer must make themself available at the time of delivery.

If you prefer to send your own courier or shipping company, please contact us before we despatch your goods. In some instances, this may prove faster.

*Overnight refers to locations that are Metropolitan (Metro) areas e.g. Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, etc…

On our Free Delivery options, we have the right to determine if the package will leave for Overnight Express or Economy Freight.

**Economy Freight is 2-7 Days – Usually, goods that are very heavy or bulky, but not limited to, e.g. Medium Duty Castor Wheels, Trolleys, Pallet Jacks, Batteries, Heavy Duty Castors, Trolley Wheels, Trolley Parts, etc…

Regional areas are more than 50 Km’s from a Metropolitan area and can take 1-2 Business Days

Remote areas are more than 100 Km’s from Metropolitan areas and can take 3-7 Business Days

Our policy on Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT’s) are very clear. The funds must reflect in our bank account before the goods can leave our premises for delivery. We bank with FNB, First National Bank. Transfers from other banks can take up to three business (working) days. Submitting a proof of payment is NOT proof that an EFT has been done. An immediate clearance will be a faster option if you require the order urgently. We will not tolerate any abuse to our staff regarding this policy. 

2. Shipping Delays

In certain rare instances, Overnight Deliveries are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances on the side of the shipping company. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for that.

Outlying areas, especially Remote Areas do not have regular deliveries and Courier Companies usually dedicate certain days of the week for delivery. Please inquire about these delivery days before purchase. Courier companies also have a practice of “Third Party Handover”. This means a shipping company will outsource a delivery to another shipping company, to a remote or rural area without either party knowing. We have found that these practices often lead to a communication breakdown. We will not be held liable for the delays.

Bank delays or public holidays will delay shipping. Please take this into consideration when purchasing.

Free Delivery

Certain products qualify for FREE** Delivery in all Major Metropolitan areas in South Africa. Metropolitan Areas are locations that are major central business districts e.g. Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, etc… Locations that are further than 100km’s from these are might not qualify for free delivery.

We can ship via Overnight Express* or Economy Freight**; at our discretion – Door to Door

Please make sure you understand this before purchasing. The Checkout system will allow you to complete your purchase. If the online shipping calculator does not work, please contact our office who will assist you with a Shipping Quote. You are also permitted to send your own Couriers. 

Delivery excludes Weekends and Public Holidays. Should you need your order to be delivered on a weekend, please contact our office as these deliveries can be arranged at an additional cost.

Goods Inspection

Great care is taken in handling and shipping of goods. Goods are packaged with a reasonable amount of packaging. Goods must be inspected by the buyer at the time of receipt/delivery in the presence of the courier agent delivering the goods as to ascertain if any damages have occurred during transit.

Although items may be in Stock, unforeseen problems may arise e.g physical stock may vary from system stock counts. If these problems occur, you will be immediately notified.

Refunds will be processed if the stock cannot be sourced within a reasonable time frame, usually within seven days.

3. Shipping returns

What is shipment return?

Roll-It Africa does accept returns. Please obtain a reference number before returning any goods.

Shipping costs on returns are for your account. If goods fall under the warranty period, Roll-It Africa will pay for the delivery of the repaired or replaced goods.

Electric and Electronic goods go through rigorous testing prior to the consumer receiving it. Most manufacturers do not accept returns on electric or electronic items.

Where the incorrect products have been dispatched the cost of returning the products will be carried by Roll-It Africa. Please inform our office within 24 hours of receiving the order.

Where you as the buyer has purchased the incorrect part and wish to return the part, shipping costs will be for the buyer’s account.

Incorrectly purchased goods must be unused and in the original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Were items show any signs of use, or debris and are not in a resalable state, the buyer will not receive a credit and will be asked to collect these items from Roll-It Africa or pay shipping fees for these items to be returned to you. 

Products returned to us must be securely packaged with bubble wrap or any another reasonable packing material. Goods returned damaged will not be credited and the buyer will be required to collect these goods at their own cost.

Goods must be returned within 7 Days. Roll-It Africa has the right to refuse the return of goods after 7 Days.

During the warranty period no claims for damage due to Act of God will be accepted.


Please read carefully to make an informed decision.

The warranty is protected by the Consumer Protection Act.

Products carry a 12 Month Warranty. Where there is a specific label on the product regarding warranty duration; that label will supersede this warranty.

Please make sure that you have purchased the correct item.

Returns are permitted within the guarantee period. The buyer must obtain a reference number before returning goods. Returns are subjected to inspection and testing by the relevant supplier or manufacturer before a claim is finalized.

Castors or Wheels that have been damaged due to excessive weight that is above the specifications will not be considered for credit or replacement.
